The PPE Replacement Fuel Valve, crafted from heat-treated stainless steel, serves as a replacement for the original or a shimmed pressure relief valve. This valve is designed to sustain fuel rail pressure when the engine is under heavy load. It prevents the occurrence of low fuel rail pressure diagnostic trouble codes P1093 or P0087 (which indicate low pressure during power enrichment) that can arise from inadequate spring tension in the pressure relief valve, which causes fuel to return to the tank.
